Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative and productive Danish furniture designers. Hans J. Wegner, also known as the 'Master of Chairs', designed around 500 chairs in his career – many of which are considered masterpieces. Probably the most famous is his iconic Y-chair, which has been in continuous production since 1950.
